A group of environment development professionals that works in the  Himalayan Mountains of India.The group was established in year 1997 towards increasing environmental concerns in the Himalayan Mountains of India. Prakriti as a non-profit organization works in environmental protection and conservation areas, and its larger interventions are in to water, sanitation, environment, forestry and agriculture sectors. The group hosts the Secretariat for Climate Himalaya, which is also the Lead Partner.
